At the Dove Cote or Darjeeling, the emphasis is on quality, privacy and relaxation…Crisp cotton sheets, preparing breakfast in a lovely hand-built kitchen, and relaxing with a cup of tea gazing over the fields towards the medieval castle at Hornby… now that’s what getting away from it all is all about.

A relaxing hide-away for two, the Dove Cote offers a blend of comfort, tradition and style.  In times gone by, this listed cottage was used by the resident flock of Doves. These days the Dove Cote sleeps two people in modern and contemporary comfort, and has a cleverly-designed layout with everything that two people could want for a relaxing short break.

The Dove Cote is a special place where we hope you'll relax and rediscover yourself.  The Dovecote (as the name suggests) used to house a flock of doves which gave us the idea for the theme, which is Relaxation.  If you have ever listened to a flock of doves you'll understand why.  Sit in your own wood-fired hot tub and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets over the woods, whilst sipping a glass of Prosecco.

The Dove Cote’s hand-crafted and painted kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d expect and need. Elegantly proportioned and cleverly designed, it wraps round the window and under the stairs..

Relax in the luxury spa style wet room with  floor to ceiling travertine. Designed for two with integrated shower, basin and toilet, clean, crisp and contemporary for those who love showering in luxury.

Booking your short break holiday cottage at Arbour Hill couldn't be easier. Click on your chosen start date and continue through the online form, the process is fully automated, including taking payment. 

Book now with just a 20% deposit, balance to be received within 6 weeks of arrival.

We accept debit or credit card payments as well as bank transfers, and there are no booking fees, credit card charges, cleaning costs or other hidden extra's, the price you see is the price you to Pay! 

We do ask for a fully refundable security deposit of £60 for each booking and hold until our guests leave. The security deposit is to cover damages, cleaning costs (if cottages are not left as found) and held as a deposit against any extra services provided. Please arrive with your security deposit in cash.
